Family Fish Day – A FREE Community Event

Family Fish Day has been a favourite event with locals and visitors for over two decades.

Held on the first Saturday in January it is the most anticipated fishing competition on the Eyre Peninsula.

Cash prizes for the winning children aged 3 to 17 years along with rods and reels, trophy’s, fishing tackle boxes and great giveaways.

Scaled fish only, catch release policy.

Registration: 8.30am Competition: 9am to 11am.

Bait, sausage sizzle, water and raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the day.

Come along prepared with all your fishing tackle, a bucket or cloth to carry your catch to the weighing station and be sunsmart.

If weather becomes inclement the event will be postponed.
